What the &^%*! did I just eat?

After receiving an uncomfortable chiding message via text on last night, I was feeling really funky... Felt the need to self-protect & put up a buffer between myself and some people. I've asked God to help me not be hurt so easily and not to be bitter & offended, because overall, it's more trouble than it's worth to carry a grudge... Too much negativity involved with that kind of drama...

Ok, so here's what I ate on today:

Breakfast (between 8am & 9am)
Drank an 8 ounce bottle of water

Ate a Breakfast Jack & a hashbrown.
Drank 32oz of water

Lunch (2pm):

Ate spinach (1/3 pkg) with peanuts, seasoned with red pepper & Parmesan cheese.

Drank 8 oz of water

Dinner  (8:15pm)
Ate a Deluxe Burger Combo (Deluxe Burger w/o Cheese), Medium Fries, and a Medium Birthday Cake shake.

  • 1 burger, 426, 22.9g, 31.7g, 22.6g
     
    *After arriving at a feeling of fullness, I stopped at the halfway mark for the meal...
Ok, so therefore the estimated # of calories for this meal would be: 1024 calories

So therefore, 50% of the meal would be 512 calories!! I'm going to adjust and say 600 calories
 And just think, this was one of the smaller meals!!!!


My overall intake for today? : Roughly 1112 calories...

I'm so glad that I'm at the point in my life where I can admit that I'm feeling angry, sad, hurt, offended, etc  about stuff... It's better that I talk it out instead of literally attempting to eat away the pain.

For Lunch, I went to Sonic and had a Junior Burger (no Cheese), small tots, and a small Cherry Cheesecake shake. I also had 1/2 bottle of water.

Choosing a Life of Balance

This morning, I ate a Banana with a flank of Broiled Pork Steak, and I drank 2 bottles of water.

Since I ate a variety of stuff that I should and should not have been eating, like the Captain D's Sampler Platter (of which I ate half, and threw the other half away) and the cheesecake bites, I wanted to keep myself accountable by listing what I have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I'm Moving Forward....

In May of 2012, I weighed 243 lbs, and that reflected a 20 lb weight loss from the year before. It is now May 17, 2013 and my current weight is 213 lbs.

It is my goal to lose 100 lbs, so that I will weigh 143 lbs (which is what I weighed in High School).

In order to stay on track with my weight loss goals, I'll be utilizing this blog as a way to stay accountable and focused.
